About the song
“Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz” is a hip-hop track by Riff Raff, written by Horst Simco and R. Story and produced by Top Secret Productions, according to Wikipedia. It was recorded in 2013 and released as a single on June 10, 2014, following “How to Be the Man” and ahead of “Doctor Pepper.”
The official music video, directed by Mickey Finnegan and Riff Raff, went up on Riff Raff’s YouTube channel on November 10, 2014. Wikipedia also notes a freestyle on the track by Ludacris in September 2014.
Why the title is spelled that way
The title is a phonetic spelling: say it out loud and it comes out as “tiptoeing in my Jordans.” Wikipedia does not comment on the spelling, so we do not claim to know the artist’s intent. It does explain why the meme has two names. People who know the song call the clip by the title, and people who only heard the lyric search for “tip toeing in my Jordans.”
Variant spellings are common. Know Your Meme tags the meme “tip toeing in my jawdinz,” and the TikTok sound on the earliest dated post is labeled with yet another spelling. If you are searching for the track itself, the spelling used on the release is “Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz.”
How the song joined the meme
The Rumpelstiltskin video was generated with AI and first posted on Instagram in late August 2026. It had no song attached. According to Know Your Meme, it was paired with Riff Raff’s track in late September 2026.
The earliest dated pairing Know Your Meme lists is a TikTok posted on September 29, 2026, captioned as the kind of dream you have after taking dollar-store melatonin. Know Your Meme reports more than 850,000 views in a week. It does not say who paired the song first, and neither do we.
Not every version uses the original track. Know Your Meme notes that several of the celebrity and character swaps use “original sound” audio instead of the official recording. For the full story of the video, start with the Rumpelstiltskin meme, explained, or see the GIFs of the clip.
